Welcome to our Year 2/3 Class! This year, our class is a mixed-age Year 2 and Year 3 class. Children will learn together in a nurturing and engaging environment, with teaching carefully planned to meet the needs of both year groups while encouraging independence, teamwork and a love of learning.

Hello, I am Mrs Bettles.

I have been teaching at St John’s for 8 years now and taught at a school in St-Leonards for 4 years prior. I have taught all year groups from Reception to Year 6 and enjoy them all. I am delighted to be teaching Year 2 and 3 this year, which is where I first began my career.

I work on a Monday and Tuesday. My passions are reading, writing, PSHE and RE. I also love outdoor learning and nature. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my two little boy, reading, knitting and baking.
