All schools receive funds to improve the provision of Physical Education and sport in school. 

The aim is to improve pupils:

• Access to sport
• Attitudes towards sport 
• General health and well-being

• Encourage regular physical activity
• Raise the profile of PE and sport as a tool for school improvement
• Boost our confidence, knowledge and skills in teaching PE and sport
